Some poker site offers a free download of the "Holdem Hustler Super Survival Kit" which did cost about 50 bucks. It includes free poker e-books and poker calculator. Well, it's free anyway....

My old Canon printer stopped working correctly after a OS X update (at least I think that was the reason). But it was getting old anyway so I went to the Apple store and bought a Canon MP500 all-in-one unit. I reasoned, "they sell it at the Apple store so it must work with Macintosh right out of the box right?" Wrong. It prints good, but I've yet to scan once. Canon tech support has yet to be able to help me. Even if I get this scanner to work I don't think I'll buy another Canon. Are there any printer/scanner companies that really take Mac support seriously? My experiences with HP are even more dismal.

I got these messages posted regarding the mp150...

"Message:
I have the same problem as Dodi, but i could scan with my cover open. I don't understant that but with the cover open it's working. If u try to close that in scanning process, it stops...

too much for me."

"Message:
I took a look on canon site... there is a solution to this. It's related to SP2.

so... support from the homepage of canon (i cannot post it here, the forum doesn't let me), then choose technical supoort on the left.

then select fax & multifunctionals, pixma series... etc.

u have there the first problem:

I am having problems with my Multifunctionals after installing Windows XP Service Pack 2.

U have a patch file there. Install that patch and the multifunctional must work fine. "
